Can I book online?

Not at this stage. All bookings must be made in-store.

Can I buy a suit?

We don’t offer any suit to buy at the moment.

Can I sell my suit to Lina Lou?

No. In order to maintain high quality and standards, all our suits are carefully selected in order to ensure the perfect fit, style, and overall look.

Do you cater for group bookings?

Absolutely, please get in contact through our contact form.

What is your maximum suit size?

Our maximum suit size is Jacket 60 in Black and 52 in Colour.

Do you have boys suits?

Yes, we have different styles for the little ones.

I need to cancel my booking, is there a cancellation fee?

Upon cancellation there is a forfeiture of your deposit.

Do you offer sponsorships with social influencers?

We love being social. Get in touch, lets chat.

What do I need to bring when I would like to hire a suit?

With all bookings at Lina Lou we require your SA ID and physical address. A form is filled in where you give us consent to use your information if needed.

When do I pay for my hiring?

All invoices must be settled before hiring. 100% payment required before collection.(cash or card accepted in-store). We also require a refundable deposit on top of your hire amount. This amount you get back when you return the Suit. This amount is subject to how many suits and what suit you hire.

What is the general process when hiring a suit?

We recommend that all customers come in for a fitting a few days before your event/function, this will allow time for alterations or amendments if necessary. You can then plan your collection and return date with our in-store staff.

Can I make a fitting booking?

Do I need to know my measurements?

Not at all, that’s what we are for! Simply arrive and a Lina Lou staff member will take it from there.

Can I hire a jacket or trouser only?

Yes, of course you can! It’s a colourful world out there and we won’t force you to match. Pricing will vary depending on which style you choose; please enquire in-store.

When should I return the suit?

Lina Lou’s property (merchandise) must be returned within 3 days after your event.  We may reserve the right to charge a penalty fee of R300  for any late returns. Please contact the store to arrange an extended return date or longer rental period (this cannot be guaranteed).

What happens if I damage the suit?

These things happen and its not the end of the world, however if any of Lina Lou’s clothing/suits/merchandise is returned damaged, beyond repair or lost, the client will be charged the full retail value price of the suit hired.

If I return my suit earlier, can I get a discount?

Unfortunately not, regardless of the hiring duration, all suits are washed and steam cleaned.
